A DAY IN UNIVERSAL STUDIOS

Ok, let's have a quick start. So, early in the morning our driver drove us to New York Hotel, around 6.30am as i remembered, then we tried to find a place for breakfast. Actually we've already spotted one restaurant named "Breakfast At 7". But it's already 6.45am yet the restaurant still didn't have any light on. I guess Breakfast At 7 means 7pm kut. So in the end, we just go to the nearest Mamak stall, and I had 3 roti canai as my breakfast. Of course, I'm still hungry, but we're out of time. We rode on the bus and reached Singapore around 10.30am

After we checked in with our ticket, some of us had to go to the Water Closet (learnt this word a few days ago). I went in too. After a few minutes, 3 of us guys were done, but those 3 girls are still taking their time, so we wait like a gentleman. Time passes, yet there's no sign of them. We boys were getting worried. We tried to ask one Malay woman to help us check if the girls were still in there, but she said she didn't see them. "They won't leave us here, right?" I thought. It can't be, we're a group. Don't tell me they've already left and went in to play. Now, we're panicked. We can't use phones in Singapore, so we had to search for them everywhere. But we didn't see them so we went back to the Water Closet (uh, typing this word is a waste of energy) and wait. Then we go to search again. This time, we saw one of the girls running towards us and said, "what took you guys so long? Hurried up." And then only we realized that they've already lined up in front of the Transformer's for the photo session. Oh boy..what a waste of time.
As the door unlocked, we saw Optimus Prime walking out and said a few things (I don't remember what he said, like, humans, autobots, etc) He looked real, maybe that's why everyone wanted to take photos with him. But I don't really understand. Be it Optimus can talk and walk, in photos he would still look the same, wouldn't it? Then why don't we just take photos with those static transformers that are much bigger than this one. I think Decepticon looked cool. (Bad guys are always cool)  Oh well, let's just follow what they want. But I'm still happy, coz I can touch Optimus legs. (I mean, it's Optimus Legs!!!)

Then we ran into the basement of transformers. There's so many people lining up. We sighed. We wait, and wait, and wait. And then we reached second floor, I thought this was gonna be over. But of course, there's another line up. But second floor is much cooler than the first floor, because it had TV like in the armies and Optimus is briefing about how we're gonna be ambushed by Decepticon and how we're gonna escape. We wait. And we reached the third room, and then the fourth, and then the fifth..I thought, when will I get ambushed by Decepticon. And then my wish was fulfilled. It was our turn.

We rode on something that seems like a car, wearing our 3D googles. Then the journey starts. It was...wow, I don't know how to describe it. Universal Studios have done a great job with the effect. It looked so real. EXCITING, We were chased by Megatron. He threw a car at us. We screamed. It's gonna hit us. And then Optimus catched it. (Oh actually I wanna feel the 3D effect of getting hit by that car) And we drive into buildings, breaking the windows and everything, falling from heights. Oh My God, I'm lucky to be alive at this moment!

The next game we play is The Mummy (definitely not your mum). And deja-vu: We had to line up in an ancient building, a piramid i believe. (seriously, how much did they spend on all this). I'm gonna skip the waiting part. (it's boring) So, after fastening our seatbelts, the game began. Man, I've experienced another great adventure. There's fire, and imhotep (seriously, I grow up watching his cartoons). Wow, I was stunned. But the best part is, we went into a dark tunnel. There's nothing we can see, but then we're falling down (like, 90 degrees). It was so scary that my hair went up (毛站起来,don't understand? get lost) I thought I was flying. And when we reached the end, suddenly i realized that I didn't really lock my seatbelts. Which means, I really did flying just now (吐血)

Then we go and watch live actions in a pool, i assumed. It's so cool. (I mean, the live actions is cool, not the pool). The towers collapsing in front of us, boat exploding, shooting and fighting, the actors are really good at this. But I liked the heroin most. Her stunt was amazing (and of course, she's beautiful). The best part was when the airplane crash down into the pool. It really surprised me. How they did it? I don't know.

We also rode three different roller-coaster. All of them were great, but I was sad because we can't try the most dangerous one since they haven't finish building it yet. It looked so high and so cool. They say in that coaster we can even flip 180 degrees and it's speed is ridiculous. Aww, I wished I could try that. Well, the roller coaster we rode were fun too. They gave me goosebumps. But the last trip was...umm..You see, the last roller coaster we rode was for little friends aged 12 and below. So when we rode it, I saw the cute tracks and a lot of colorful cartoons in the cave, I saw elmo trying to teach something, and other characters I don't recognise (guess I'm old now).

We used our voucher to buy food for lunch, but we had to add some money just to buy a meal. I chose to eat "Singaporean's Favourite Hainan Chicken Rice". It was sold in a bento. The taste was ok, but I think it's very expensive. Oh well, I'm not here to eat, I told myself.

And then we went into the castle. We watch Shrek in 4D. It was my first time watching 4D movie. It certainly is fun. And then we just go out. Of course, we took our group photos in front of the castle. But no matter how much photos we took, the girls seems to be not satisfied. The reason is one, they can't capture the top of the castle in the photo. At last they gave up on that. Lucky, i say. If not we're gonna stay there forever.

We also rode in boats and travel Jurassic Park to see dinasours. The worker kept advising that we should buy the raincoat to prevent us from getting wet. Some people bought it, some don't. We chose not to waste our money. In fact, I love getting wet. I mean, if u dont want to get wet, then why the hell did u get in the boat? But the whole boat journey was a bit boring to me. There's no challenge at all, we just follow the flow of the river. The next boat game we played was the same. But this time, something funny happened.

We were in the cave, in our boat and travelling through the river. Then i saw air terjun in front of us. I was quite sure that we will be hit by that, so I asked for umbrellas from my friends. They were also scared of getting wet. As soon as I get the umbrella, I opened it. Any minutes now and we're gonna pass under the air terjun. And then the air terjun just stop, there's no water flowing down, and we passed safely. My friends were laughing at me, and I warned them, NEVER TELL ANYBODY ABOUT THIS (ironi, I'm telling this to you now). But when we got out, there was a picture taken for the trip. And there was me holding an umbrella. (I'm gonna hide somewhere for a while)

At last we went to watch the movie effect in a room. To learn how they created big ocean waves and wind and storm. It was cool. There were many people watching with us. And there's one little boy right behind me who was so scared with the storm. And guess what he did? He grabbed my pants and pulled them so hard while watching the storm. And I had to hold my pants to prevent them from falling. But he kept pulling and pulling. And seriously, what strength he got there? I'm barely holding on. Luckily the movie didnt last long.

And that's all of it. This time I wrote really long, didn't I? Oh well, good memories are hard to forget. I wish I could go to play one more time. But of course, that will have to wait until Malaysian ringgit rise up again... sobs sobs T.T
